Ticci Man Project - Commercial

Motion Picture Component

Trying to put your finger on the Ticci Man is like trying to grab a handful of smoke - the mysteries, adventure, the fun and magic of myth and storytelling come together to create the next epic adventure in landmark entertainment.

This exciting project features one of the most fascinating characters to ever grace the screen. He could qualify as a superhero alright, but nothing like you've ever seen---yes, he does incredible things---but his true power comes from helping others become their own hero so don't look for another campy superhero character---Ticci Man is anything but stereotypical!

Ticci Man will steal your heart and make you laugh and cry and run for your life on a thrill ride into the world of the enchanting unknown that surrounds us all - the magical world of Ticci!

We are proud to be a part of this project that will afford greater opportunities for mainstream media access to Native peoples around the world and particularly in the United States and Canada.

Creator's Note

This project focuses around a unique Indian hero based, in part, on pre-Columbian myths and legends of the Americas.  This landmark series and film work hard to bring the world both the fun and enjoyment of native cultures in the ancient and modern worlds, as well as help break down Hollywood's negative stereotypes of native peoples everywhere.

*Terminology

We use the term Native American (NA) in the purely anthropological sense to denote "aboriginal people of the Western Hemisphere," which includes a wide variety of self-descriptive nomenclatures, including Canada's First Nations People and many others of the American continents and Pacific Island groups. When more specific descriptions are used, they will include current country of origin or commonly known tribal names (i.e. Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Dine, etc.).
