Ticci Man Project - Nonprofit

Cultural Preservation Assistance

TMP proceeds go to help Kon Ticci International (KTI) in its mission, much of which is focused on cultural revitalization and preservation for Native Americans. KTI seeks to provide both expertise and financial assistance for Native American cultural preservation and development. Program highlights include:

  • Language revitalization, education, and preservation
  • Traditional and modern arts, crafts and entertainment promotion and preservation
  • Native artifact preservation, housing, and public sharing (i.e. museum and cultural center assistance)
  • Advancement of Native culture, businesses, issues, and equality
  • Increased Native education, access, and voice in local to national media and film toward bringing greater issue awareness, respect, and equality to Native Americans through mass communications.

*Terminology

We use the term Native People (NP) in the purely anthropological sense to denote "aboriginal people of the world,  which includes a wide variety of self-descriptive nomenclatures, including Canada's First Nations People, Native Americans, and many others of the American continents and Pacific Island groups and places of the world. When more specific descriptions are used, they will include current country of origin or commonly known tribal names (i.e. Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Dine, etc.).
