One of the most legendary heros in Native American history, Tekamthi, otherwise known by  Whites as Tecumshe, asked tribes across the land to band together in order to make a stand toward protecting their lands.

Tecumshe used both logic and emotion to lead and unite the tribes, teaching the wisdom that "a single strand of hair could easily be broken, but that many strands woven into an organized braid were nearly unbreakable."

The tribal confederacy he built remains one of the landmark successes in all American history.
