Ticci Man Project - Nonprofit Road Show: Traveling Native Learning Center and StoreThe Ticci Man Project seeks the creation of the of the Traveling Native Learning Center and Store (TNLCS) that we like to call the "road show." TNLCS will travel the US and Canada and provide tribes and Indian operated businesses and other venues with both a promotional tool and a cultural learning experience for the entire public to enjoy. Future Aspects For added appeals, the Ticci Man series or film cast members, from time to time, may make celebrity appearances and give the TNLCS and its sponsors a powerful boost of public awareness, appeal, and business promotion.
Store Aspects Store items will include authentic Native arts and crafts as well as film and series memorabilia and an expanded cultural learning mail order catalogue for purchase of other NA related items, such as books, custom products, and more.
Cultural Entertainment Other aspects will include traveling Native dance performers with both modern and traditional dance exhibitions providing a mini-carnival experience of fun for the whole family. Dramatic and comedic skits by Native talent will also be forwarded in larger venues. When night falls, traditional Native story tellers will also be on hand to heighten the cultural rejuvenation experience for one and all, ensuring a deeply memorable experience for all participants. In short, TNLCS is about celebration of Native culture and sharing it with the world while benefiting tribal lands, people, and American Indian owned businesses in the process.
*Terminology We use the term Native People (NP) in the purely anthropological sense to denote "aboriginal people of the world, which includes a wide variety of self-descriptive nomenclatures, including Canada's First Nations People, Native Americans, and many others of the American continents and Pacific Island groups and places of the world. When more specific descriptions are used, they will include current country of origin or commonly known tribal names (i.e. Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Dine, etc.).
