One of the most legendary heros in Native American history, Tekamthi, otherwise known by  Whites as Tecumshe, asked tribes across the land to band together in order to make a stand toward protecting their lands.

Tecumshe used both logic and emotion to lead and unite the tribes, teaching the wisdom that "a single strand of hair could easily be broken, but that many strands woven into an organized braid were nearly unbreakable."

The tribal confederacy he built remains one of the landmark successes in all American history.

Endorsement Form

Official Endorsement Form For TMP -  For Everybody

Endorsement

(Sorry, TMP does not pay for endorsements. You either support the fight to help end racism for Native Americans and to help celebrate Native people and cultures or you do not. If you do support our efforts, you will need to send us a signed endorsement form (with verification contacts) so we can list you on our website officially, otherwise, the public may assume you don't support ending racism---we apologize, but due to our efforts to remain open as possible on Twitter, we routinely let the public know which celebrities have been officially invited to join the TMP family.)

We encourage everyone with name-brand recognition in all industries, not just Hollywood, to take a few moments and send us an endorsement---it's quick, easy, and free---and it will help us to help millions of Native people and children of the world find greater respect and equality. -- Thank You!

Volunteering

As we move forward, we will be partnering with one or more major nonprofits to assist us in this project and they will be needing plenty of volunteer and community assistance for this project. Until then, we are asking for only two things from the public:

  1. If you would like to volunteer your assistance in the future, then send us your full contact information, including address and phone number to: ( general -at- ticciman.com ) and we will keep your information on file and pass it to the proper nonprofit manager once the project is moving forward (you can work out the details at a future time).

  2. Spread the word about our project to any of the following:

  • Native American or Peoples cultural centers

  • Native American or Peoples museums

  • Tribes
  • Tribal publications
  • Native American or People businesses (small or large, of any type)

*Terminology

We use the term Native American (NA) in the purely anthropological sense to denote "aboriginal people of the Western Hemisphere," which includes a wide variety of self-descriptive nomenclatures, including Canada's First Nations People and many others of the American continents and Pacific Island groups. When more specific descriptions are used, they will include current country of origin or commonly known tribal names (i.e. Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Dine, etc.).
