Ticci Man Project (TMP)
Global Overview
The Ticci Man Project is a nonprofit project presented by Kon Ticci
International ( www.konticci.org ).
We are proud to be a part of this ambitious project that seeks to bring
greater issue awareness, respect, and equality to Native America.
Named in honor of Imajilan Picture's™
"Koto and the Ticci Man" main character, Ticci Man, a bigger than
life Indian hero, the Ticci Man Project (TMP) has many worthy components all
designed to help us fulfill our mission.
The project's first major supporter is Imajilan Pictures™, which has
pledged a portion of all profits from the Ticci Man television series and motion
picture and related projects to TMP. We support IP not only for this aspect,
but for its major social impacts in bringing the world its first Indian icon for
the big and little screen---to show Native people---in fact all citizens of the
world---that great heroes can come in all colors and ethnicities and equality
for all should be given a chance to exist--especially in Hollywood's

*Terminology We
use the term Native People (NP) in the purely anthropological sense to
denote "aboriginal people of the world, which includes a
wide variety of self-descriptive nomenclatures, including Canada's First Nations
People, Native Americans, and many others of the American continents and Pacific Island
groups and places of the world. When
more specific descriptions are used, they will include current country of origin
or commonly known tribal names (i.e. Mohawks of the Bay of
Quinte, Dine, etc.). |
